David's Legacy - "Nathan's Counterplay" - 11 AM

In this message, as we conclude our series in the book of II Samuel, and we get a final picture of what seems to set David apart from most kings and even most men and women: he learned how to sincerely confess and repent of his sins and experience God’s forgiveness.

In this message from the book of II Samuel, we see another consistency between younger and older David: we’ve already established his love for the Lord never died, but we’re also reminded that his capacity to sin also lingered.

In this message, have the privilege of hearing a message from Justin Myrick, our Pastor of Collegiate & International Students.  Justin and his wife, Brooke, have been on our staff for sixteen years, and they have one daughter, Hallie, and three sons, Drake, Max and Miles.

In this message from II Samuel, we come to what is widely known as the listing of his mighty men.  If David, as a man of God, could attract such loyalty and bravery, how should we live and serve our Lord and Savior?

In this message from the book of II Samuel,  we come to what could be referred to as David’s last formal statement as king, and, fortunately, it is a poem or song celebrating the faithfulness of God.

In this message, we have the privilege of hearing a challenge from our ministry partners, Gideon’s International.  Their commitment to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through the distribution of copies of God’s Word is always an encouragement.

In this message, we celebrate Easter and we join with the sweet Psalmist of Israel in celebrating God as our security, our light, our strength and our hope.
